THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR HAD INTERVIEW WITH THE GREAT AMERICAN SEAN HANNITY AND HIS COMIC FRIEND COMBS ABOUT STEROIDS

“I did use steroids,” said Warrior. He said he has always been honest about it. Warrior used the steroids in a controlled and "wholistic" way and with a doctor's supervision. Many of the wrestlers who die from prolonged steroid abuse take the steroids to look good on the outside while still being rotten on the inside.

He made it very clear that there is a difference between use and abuse. Many of the famous bodybuilders throughout the years (including Arnold Schwarzenegger) are examples of how steroids can be used in a better way and are not inherently bad.

Steroids are not always bad, but abusing them is.

For example, I'm asthmatic. I'm on a medically perscribed, inhalent steroid for my lungs. Doctors may use them for helping a patient recover from certain surgeries. It's when they are abused that they become bad.

Some people use steroids meant for race horses. Now imagine that. A horse is much bigger than a human. Animal steroids are not even for the right physiology, but some people will use them anyway, just to look buff.

Other times, doctors hand them out, or write perscriptions to abusers. Take the Chris Benoit case for example. Law enforcement thinks he obtained steroids through his doctor.

Like any drug, abusers build a tolerance to it. Their body adjusts to accomidate the drugs, so they need more and more to acheive it's effect.

So yes, there are good things steroids can be used for, it's when things get out of control that there is a problem.

Yeah I saw the interview, Warrior got pissed. Wrestling will always get a bad rap about steroids because its wrestling which is a bunch of crap. The media doesn't talk about other sports and athletes (with the exception of Barry Bonds and that's never been proven) with as much hate as they do for wrestling. Any time something happens in wrestling, steriods are the first thing to come out of their mouths while any other sport they're willing to give the benefit of the doubt. If you were to just walk down the street or go door to door and take a survey and ask people what they thought about wrestling the typical "they're just oiled up steroid freakes in tights" or "its fake" are the answers you'll get. So yes, it is in bad terms but to a lot of people anything that has to do with wrestling is bad terms.

Steroids are used in medicine as a strong
anti-inflammatory or immunosuppressant in some cases where regular anti-inflammatories are not effective as in Asthma, Rheumatoid, MS and some skin disease patients.
Other than that it is contra-indicated to use them, especially the kind of steroids you use to build up your muscles
(Anabolic Steroids) !.
The serious problems which can happen if you use these steroids are :

1) Heart Failure due to high blood pressure
2) Osteoporosis and reduces bone density (spontaneous fractures in your spine and hips).
3) Bone death of your hip joints ( you will need total hip replacement at a very young age )
4) Stomach ulcers and bleeding
5) Liver failure
6) Diabetes
7) Depression and Psychosis
8) Suppressed immune system ( More vulnerable to infections).

Please don't destroy yourself !.

Good luck

.Steroids can cause heart ,liver, and other major organ problems and abnormal jaw growth if abused or used over a long period of time.
Check out Arnold lower jaw, true they can increase muscle mass but only as far has your genetic potential will allow,if you are meant to peak at 200lbs then that has far as you will get.
the British bulldog died of a heart attack at an early age due to steroid abuse.
you have to sum up the risks, better to go natural than drug assisted.less health risks as well.

In my opinion they are. They are a chemical, not natural. You can get the same results from working out which is much safer and healthier for you. Now, we've lost another one, Chris Benoit.

Steroids, like most illegal drugs, can be addictive...Also, steroids have bad side effects...sometimes causing death...So, those who want to risk their lives just to get bigger are idiots...
