Its quite obvious , isn't it.
ANY mathematician can say {using probability} that the probability of it raining in a particular day is 1/2
{It can rain or it doesn't rain - only 2 possibs.}
1/2 is nothing but 50%
Therefore u dont need weather men to say that possibility for rain on a part. day is 50%, U already know that it is 50%.
So their job is to look at the weather elements and tell some other scientific probability.

They do offer 50-50 all the time. They say it might rain then again it might not.

Well the chance of rain in Dallas Texas tonight is 50%, so they do that some times.

You cannot predict the weather. We can tell you when something will happen up to 2 hours advanced warning. It was why New Orleans was totally unprepared for Katrina.

When weather becomes an exact science, you will be able to make it happen vice letting it happen. I cant wait until the pay my for weather production vice weather prediction... the pay checks will fatten nicely.

They do. I see it all the time. Look closer at NOAA forecast. It is amazing that you miss it.
