The adults living here shower because it uses less water in the long run. Come and live out in the country where we have tanks and not mains and then go through a drought. You shower over the bath with the plug in and then use that water for flushing the toilet, watering the garden or for the first wash of the laundry etc.

I love the feeling when the water hits my face and body in a blast! If it's night time, I'll use the heater and it just relaxes me to have the warm water trickle down and unknotting the muscles.

When I have a cold shower in the morning, I feel super fresh and it beats the heat! Besides, I don't like having baths because my skin gets pruney and I can't lay in the tub without feeling fidgety.

Showers are the absolute and ultimate best because you don't have to bathe in your own disgusting filth, you can use as much hot water as possible, and you can use a fresh bar of soap or body wash while bathing standing up.

I think everyone should SHOWER after a bath... I just think it's gross for someone to sit in their own sweat, dirt, and grime for the duration of their bath and then get out thinking their clean. That's why people need to shower because they still have the gunk on them.

Because with a bath you are just soaking in your own filth, in a shower it all washes off of you and down the drain.

A shower washes the dirt down and off of your body, it is faster more convenient, use less water and who wants to sit in the grime and dirt that they just washed off of their dirty body? A good hot bath soak is very relaxing.

If I had no kids, no job, nowhere to be - I would take 1 hour baths every day. It is not a preference - its just convenient.

It could be that they are in a hurry. Personally, I prefer a nice warm bath when I have time for one.
