You mean the Big Pink Machine? It doesn't matter. As long as the Reds history of staying under the salary cap stays true you can bet your last dollar it'll be 2025 before they flirt with a wild card. They need to gut upper management, screw the "original 6" tag that they have bragged about for so long and the commissioner needs to step in and approve a sale to someone in Nashville or Vegas. In short, if you're a Reds fan and don't write to the paper, organization or Commissioner's office, shut up and watch archived Johnny Bench highlights.

Yes they are bad, but the National League in general is pretty bad and inter-league play is done. I guess they will lose 92, and play better down the stretch, as teams that don't have any pressure on them play better in August and September when the games don't matter.
