I am 40 + weeks pregnant and unfortunately still waiting for baby to come!!! The bad news is that none of the things mentioned to get labour started have worked for this pregnancy or my last 3 either, ive had to be induced for all 3 and maybe this one aswell. Sorry.

The baby will come when it's ready, your body needs to be ready too. The cervix needs to soften and become effaced, then it will start to dilate. The only thing to really get you going is an induction done by the doc at the hospital, and you are still to early to do that.

I've been there, and that last month can be uncomfortable, but really, pregnancies are 40 weeks to full term for a reason. Let that little one grow where it will grow best until it's ready to be born.

my goodness there has been lots of these questions in the pass few days.... are these women getting hot and tired? well there are different things you can do. You can try going for a very long walk, you can try having sex if that's an option, you can try washing your floors on your knees, you can try washing walls. And last but not lease there is CASTOR OIL that you can try, BUT everyone has their on opinion on it... before taking something orally i would try theses natural things first! GOOD LUCK!!

I was told that after 38 weeks if you stimulate your nipples by rubbing (or having someone to do it for you) it can cause your waters to break. I did it 9 days before I was due before going to sleep and woke up at 2am. I stood up and guess what? My waters broke! Coincedence? Maybe... but it doesn't hurt to try!

you shouldn't try anything yet. you are still early. the closer the baby is to it's due date the better off the baby is. for now just relax and get as much rest as possible.

you shouldn't try anything yet, the baby will come when it's ready. when you get to 37 weeks, start walking and having sex. it helps.
