WHY a continuous popup asking for my password?

the popup does not show an error message. I am desperately trying to get this issue addressed; does anyone know how to contact yahoo?

There may be a simple explanation: check the date and clock (time) on yor computer. If it gets ahead of yahoo--mine did once--I got those frequent requests to re-enter or confirm password. I think this is because yahoo thinks you have timed out.

Sounds like a phishing expedition.
