Once the trust is gone and the emotional love for them has writhered away, It's a waste of time to go for round two and give them a second chance. This is my opinion. Im going through the same thing with my son's father. I do not trust him, He has made me self conscience of my own self, BUT I love him. lol. However a second chance for him would only put my 2 steps behind where I already am. So I moved it. The hardest thing Ive done in my life. What ever your going through, Always go for what you heart tell's you. Really!, Sit down and just listen to what it tell's you. Good Luck!

I don't know.
my gut feeling is that "not right away".
I suppose that if you waited until a certain amount of 'trust' was rebuilt ... and until you no longer felt fearful, then "maybe yes"
but all this sounds like a whole lot of obstacles and of course there's the required trotting out of the old "it'll never be the same" cliche-pony

If the trust and necessary emotions have been extinguished it is impossible to give them a genuine second chance.

If you are afraid of them emotionally and the trust is gone, I don't see how you could.

without trust there is no love...how can you give someone another chance when you are afraid of them....?? let them go and move on...there's someone better out there waiting for you...good luck...
