My sister had a pretty bad one. It was the foggiest day we'd ever seen, visibility was down to about 1 metre. The cars crawled along to the church and she was really late. Me and my brother-in-laws sister were bridesmaids and we giggled the whole way through, then fell about laughing when the groom had to kneel and he still had the price stickers on the soles of his shoes! Not one single photo turned out, and a lot of the guests never made it to church because of the fog. When we finally got to the hotel reception, someone knocked over the tiered wedding cake. We were served up the broken bits. The bottom tier was okay and was saved for the party on the night. My other brother-in-law, had a few drinks too many and decided to fall asleep with his elbow in the cake. One of the guests got his zipper stuck and had to be taken to hospital, after fainting! All in all, it was a pretty memorable day

my sister had a dream wedding, then the next day my boyfriend set fire to her (accidently!!! was totaly not his fault) and she spent the next two weeks in a burns unit and 2 months before she could go back to australia (where she lives)

at least we got to see a bit more of her, wasn't the spectacular honey moon her husband had sorted for her though

i kind of got one,
my father in law died a month to the day of our wedding, he had a heart attack at 50, he was a cider drinker so we put a pint of cider on the top table for him, my family didn't know so everyone kept asking what the cider was for and made us cry every time.
at the end of the night his 3 children and their partners stood in a circle in the middle of the dance floor with tears streaming down our faces, hugging each other and drank his - by this time warm and flat - cider between us.
