Add some details: How long were you gone?
PS: it's all about continuity. Keep the profile active and try to have a high rate of Best Answers.
But then again, I'm still new on YA.

Just keep your account active. You already have that 14% best answer ratio, which is pretty darn good. I'm sure once you've been back a little while you'll get that badge back in no time flat.

I had lost mine for a long time and then it just came back one day and I don't know why. Good luck and just try to answer questions each day. I think once you are given one , it should never be taken away.â¥j

I used to have one once but i lost it. Try answering loads of questions and getting above 10%.
