Very good point. Most transvestites advice services advise people how to look convincing like a female to 'pass' and if everyone 'passed' no one would know they were men dressed as women, so they wouldn't have to face up to the fact. Transvestites should wear what they like, how they like. I know one who went into Burtons dressed as a man, they are a men's clothes shop, but they had tennis skirts, so he bought one, put it on and walked out the shop wearing it. It takes all sorts. The transvestites in Little Britain, even the one with a moustache, are perfectly acceptable.

I have dressed up in women's clothes before and I've done if for Halloween, costume parties, opposite days, because I lost a bet, because I've been dared to dress like a woman and the final reason is because I just love to dress-up in women's clothes a be a girl sometimes.

I am a man and I dress in "womans" clothes most days. skirts dresses, tights and underware. Although i don't see why a piece of material should be gender specific
