Frankly, I DON'T know HOW a scientist can be an atheist, when they are constantly confronted with the marvels and wonders of the manifest universe. Every time I read scientific magazines or learn something new and amazing about anything at all, a feeling of tremendous awe comes over me at the infinite and unlimited cleverness and ingenuity of the Great Architect of the Universe. To those who think science is the be-all and end-all, think of this: It is quite possible to transform a human being into hamburger, but science has NOT yet devised a way to transform hamburger into a human being! Yet our OWN BODIES perform this miraculous transmutation as a matter of course. Only when scientists can match this feat can they truly give themselves a little tiny pat on the back!

Believing in God is not about proof or facts because 90% of the time the only facts about religeon are the ones that people find within themselves, so if you believe in God then he is real to you, however i don't believe in God and that is what i believe, What a person believes in is a matter of perspective, A person who follows hindu beliefs and religeon is no less important than a person who believes in God or some other religeon.

Ask a scientist whether we could travel faster than sound a century ago: No

Ask a religious man about the ten commandments (for example) a millennium ago: The very same

Science Vs Religion?
God wins

There are many gods.

There is no scientific evidence to indicate that any of them actually refers to something real.

No matter who or where you are, someone somewhere is praying fervently and confidently to some god that it will reach out and destroy you.

So take you pick.

There is no way to know.

And in the absence of proof or evidence, the only answer that goes beyond "we don't know" is "most likely not".

Note to "down-thumbers" everywhere: this is the SCIENCE section, not the "I believe in a book that was written by no one knows who and self-contradict itself in numerous places".

I believe so. The only way to completely know is after death, and I think everyone would rather wait for that.
