I have had precognitive dreams most of my life. Some have been frightening. Like seeing my husband in an awful car accident and waking up in a cold sweat, just before he left for work.

Tried to convince him to take a snowday as the winter weather was nasty outside. Didn't want him to know what I had dreamt. He chose to go to work anyway. I cautioned him to be careful driving.

Shortly after he left, the phone rang. He had slid off the road, because of black ice. He slid over the embankment and triple rolled the car. Just as I had seen in my dream.

Fortunately his injuries weren't as severe as they could have been. He had glass in his eyes and whiplash to his neck and shoulders and a concussion. It was a miracle!

Recently I had a dream about a friend of mine who is a hair stylist too. I hope this doesn't come true. Perhaps if I talk about it then it won't.

She is going through a nasty divorce in the present.

In my dream I seen my husband and I arrive for our hair appointments.

Standing in front of her house, is her soon to be ex and several police cars.

We hear him telling the officers, " I don't know where she is,I haven't seen her, haven't heard from her, she took off and left the kids with me!"

I watched my dream self tell the police, "No that isn't possible. She wouldn't go away and leave her chilldren! Not ever! Have you searched the property for her?"

One of the officers replied, "No Ma'am we haven't as we don't feel there is a need to perform a search."

Her soon to be ex wore a smug look on his face when he looked at me!

In the dream, I was also the all knowing observer:

What the others in the dream, except for her ex and he knew exactly where she was, as he was the one who had placed her there:

The others couldn't see that my friends body was at the bottom of the pond, which is surrounded by three acres of woods.

I woke up in a cold sweat! We have warned her to be careful!

It made her uncomfortable, when I told her about the dream. It's not something anyone wants to hear. I just want her to be safe.

I hope this dream doesn't come true! It just seemed so real! I will be happy if it never happens!

Some of my dreams have come true anywhere from the next morning up to several months afterward. Sometimes they will recur until whatever the dream is about actually happens.

not only heard of it, but experienced it!

Nothing spectacular, I was about 7 and I had a dream I was sat near a door at my school... I remembered there was an indentation in the wall where the handle had hit it too many times and that it was sunny and that 3 of my friends where there also... About 2 weeks later I was in the exact spot, with the same people and noticing the same indentation in the wall!

Shame it wasn't lottery numbers...

usually these dreams are the source for the feeling of deja vu...the feeling that what you are currently experiencing, you have experienced before.

when i was little, i had a dream that i was teaching my brother and sisters how to play a new board game called 'anti-monopoly'. i remember waking up and thinking 'that's dumb, there is no such game'

a few years later we recieved a family christmas present from an aunt, and i started reading the rules and then teaching my brother and sisters how to play....about then i had the deja vu feeling and remembered my dream, i was a bit excited/unsettled about it.

some precog dreams come true almost right away, but some take many, many years. nostradamus may have had several of them and just decided to write them down.

I have pre-cognitive sites alot. They are not in my dreams, however, I'm awake and alert when they transpire, and always makes me wonder if its real, should I follow my instincts and listen to these feelings or what. Sometimes its very confusing to me. This seems to be quite common in my family on my mom's side.

yes i have had precognitive dreams. and its usually a few months sometimes even years ahead. i dont realy have control over what i dream.

i tend to dream from my own perspective, and its usually a situation where im very emotional, angry, sad, insulted etc. Mostly the dreams dont make sense until i actually experience the situation.

and no i dont dream lottery numbers :P

I suppose if you believe in that stuff you may think it's possible. My Great Grandmother dreamt about the crash of the Hindenburg 3 days before it happened. May have been a coincidence, but who knows.

Yup, I've heard and experienced it. But mostly it's just what's going to immediately happen. Like I've been forewarned of people coming to visit, or hearing from friends, mostly just stuff relevant to me and my life. Nothing profound, I'm afraid. But I have friends who've dreamed of accidents and shootings.
