2) get showered & ready & hit the gym?

Not that it's anyone's business, but I have a job & have 2 weeks off. I was out celebrating my birthday last night - so I do not appreciate people assuming that I am some drunk who does not work!!!!

OK this is what i would do...
If I was really badly hungover then I would go for option 1, but you have said 'slightly hungover' so I would get showered & ready & hit the gym so you can sweat last night's alchohol out of your system and leave invigorated. Under no circumstnaces would I go shopping if hungover simply because whatever little mental and physical energy I had I would prefer to preserve it and use it wisely, and to add to that, you can't afford it - so definately don't do it!

Stay in your jammies and go and make yourself a great big fry-up! Don't know why but it seems to settle the stomach. You'll probably feel better in a couple of hours and then be able to do any of the things you mentioned. Failing that either drink some Irn Bru (great for hangovers!) or make yourself some Heinz Tomato soup - ditto!!

1)Start with a prairie oyster :- a drink made from a whole raw egg yolk, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, salt, and pepper that is taken as a palliative for a hangover or as a cure for hiccups.
2) Eat a full English fried breakfast.
3) Then go down the pub for the hair of the dog.

Get a shower and go out drink lots of water neednt hit the gym just get some fresh air staying in will make you feel worse and spending money you dont have will annoy you in the long run.

Go for 1 - stay in PJ's and eat loads of stodgy/sugery stuff
from (2) you could risk a shower
as for (3) forget it - you'll end up buying cr*p that you really don't want !

I'd hit the gym - sweat it out ... you'll be back down the boozer tonight no fear - oh and when you've been to the gym you'll feel better about getting your bloodsugars up with some hangover food :-)

Option 2 - definitely! Drink plenty, eat a banana (replace potassium) and don't overdo the exercise!
