i already have two boys and i'm planning to extend my family at the end of the year and this will be my last pregnancy and i would love a little girl.

You're more likely to conceive a girl if...
• You have sex earlier on in your cycle, a few days before your day of ovulation. This is because female sperm are thought to be stronger and therefore last longer than male sperm, who will die off before reaching the egg
• your partner reaches orgasm before you
• you have sex frequently to lower your partner's sperm count, and so increase the chances of the female sperm reaching the egg first
• you keep penetration shallow
• you stop having unprotected sex four to five days before ovulation, to minimise the chances of the male sperm reaching the egg first
• your partner keeps his genitals warm by wearing close-fitting underwear and tight trousers (although this isn't likely to do his general fertility any good!)
• you suggested the love-making
• you make love in the afternoon
• you make love on even days of the month
• you put a wooden spoon under your bed and a pink ribbon under your pillow
• you drink plenty of milk and eat dairy products such as cheese and yoghurt, unsalted foods, rice, pasta, certain vegetables, mineral water, limited amounts of meat and potatoes, but avoid salt and any salty foods, wine and beer, fresh fruit, spinach, tomatoes and mushrooms, chocolate, coffee and tea.

Actually, there is a near 100% guarantee that you can get a girl: Adoption. I want to have at least two biological children. I'm pregnant with my first. The next child might be our biological child as well. (I figure it might be a bit easier to adopt if were stable and steady in one home for at least a year.) I just know I'm done with birth control. I want to adopt at least one because there are many wonderful children out ther who need a home and a mommy and daddy. God has blessed us with a strong marriage, a great home, an abundance of stuff, and so far, one child. We want to, need to share that.
If we do have two biological children first, and two of a kind (two boys, two girls), we might request the opposite. However, if we're blessed with one of each, we'll take what's available.
As for the tips of the person above me.... I don't eat dairy or meat; I didn't avoid beer or wine (even after I was pregnant, but I didn't know it then) and I thin there were a few more that i definatley didn't do, but according to the ultrasound, we're having a girl. Go figure.
If you want, conceive again. God will provide with what God thinks is best for you. (Not always easy to accept, I know.)

There are old wive's tales like, you on top during the sex, have him thrust in short when he ejaculates, have him sit on some ice packs or wear loser underware, and have sex the day before you ovulate and the day after but not the day of. But there is no documented truth to these.
If you have the money and absolutely want to plan the sex of your next child, they are now able to spin the samples of sperm and separate the "X" from the "Y". They would then inseminate you with the "X" sperm only on the day you ovulate.

Someone once told me that if the baby was conceived at night, it was guaranteed to be a boy but if it was in the wee hours of the morning, you guessed right, a bouncing baby girl; though i am yet to prove this theory in the next 4 months, why don't you have fun trying.

i heard liek this. that if the man seeds before the woman, then it will be a girl. and vice versa.
meaning, that if his sperm is there before your egg gets there, than it will be a girl.
like have sex right after your period is done.

with advances in medical technology these days they do have the ability to pre-determine the sex of the fetus.
however if that is not an option there are a few other methods you can try. here...

make love on the ist day of your ovulation for a boy it is on the last day of your ovulation.
