Is this a joke? Jason Kidd is much better period.
How can we even compare Kidd who still to this day drop "triple-doubles" on any point guard in the league to Steve Nash who plays in a play ground offense?
And it's obvious that Kidd is a much better defender than Nash who gives up double-double to opposing team's second and third string guards.
Just because Kidd plays for the Nets whom most consider to be a boring team people tend pick Nash because of the Sun's style of play. That is pure nonsense.
Jason Kidd has led the Nets to back to back NBA Finals in 2002 and 2003. Steve Nash has not led Dallas nor Phoenix to not one final! I rest my case.

Jason Kidd is no doubt people seem to forget people talked about Kidd the same as they do Nash now back a few years ago when he went to the Nets and made them better over night the main difference is that Kidd went to the show two years in a row Nash still hasn't been there and wont be there anytime soon. Kidd has been consistent for his whole career if he were on this suns team he would be doing just as well as Nash has maybe even better. Nash had lots of talent around him in Dallas and never went anywhere and he has tons of talent around him now in the Suns and still hasn't taken them anywhere when Nash at least gets to the show he can be compared to Kidd until then he is a poor mans Jason Kidd and that is what he was Labeled years ago when he played with Dallas and that is what he still is with the Suns.

Steve Nash is better, but not by as much as most people think. Obviously, they're both sensational passers; the top two in the NBA. Jason Kidd plays better defense and rebounds better but Nash is a very underrated shooter; one of the best in the game.

Jason Kidd no doubt. He is the ultimate point guard. No offense to Steve Nash, he's an offensive player. He really doesn't play defense. Jason Kidd is an all around point guard.

Steve Nash
Jason Kidd is most definately better at defense and rebounding, but steve nash scores more, assists more, and he can take over a game any second. he is two time mvp, (should have been MV3). You always have a shot of winning with steve nash on the court. He takes clutch shots, steps up to the challenge and always plays hard

Right now Steve Nash. He has led the NBA in assist the last three years. The better carreer would have to go to Jason Kidd. He is a triple-doulbe machine and has been the closest thing to magic johnson.

jason kidd he is a walking triple double and he took a bad nets team to the finals twice steve nash has done nothing but be a point guard. jason kidd has more triple doubles then anyone playing today
