Unfortunately,most of us is ultimately narcissistic because,even when we think we're doing things for others,we're doing it because it makes us feel good with ourselves - isn't that what you get when you help others and you think you're doing it for free? Well,you're not. I think the only thing that proves otherwise is when you give your life for someone. That's you giving up the greatest thing you have. THAT is something... But,hey,being narcissistic isn't bad! It's a natural thing,if you consider you only have one life and you're the only one who can live it. In context, it makes sense...

That depends a lot on the integrity of the person holding the opinions. In fact, I think that is a pretty good measure of integrity - how disinterested a person's opinions are.

Somehow self interest is part of interest in people. Race interest, human race, every individual. That's to my self interest.

most opionions are based on self interest, cuz thats exactly what it means when u ask someone for their opinion, ........ it is THEIR opionion. it would be best to ask someone like this, "In your opinion, what would be best for ME?", if u dont want their answer to be about only their interest.
