LeBron is the better player by far, but 1 on 1 Carmelo might win. Carmelo is a better 1 on 1 scorer, while LeBron's greatest strength arguably is his passing skills.

diesel4593 how could u say that LeBron has a better team then Carmello? Marcus Camby, Allen Iverson are both far better then any Cavs player minus LeBron. When Melo doesnt play his team still wins, Cleveland is not the same without lebron theres not gonna be a Cleveland win.
On to the real question i think LeBron will win in a 1-1solidly because his a better player on the whole and mmelo cant match him strength for strength.

Carmelo Hands down individually he is the better player. If it were a game with others involved and Lebron and Melo matching up I would give the advantage to Lebron do to the fact he is better with a team and works well with others. But just one on one Melo would smoke him.
