The song "One Week" by the Bare Naked Ladies mentions 'laughing at a funeral'....
This is a phenomenon that is often misunderstood. I never believe it until it happened to me at my Dad's funeral. I was 19 years old and was so distraught. He was the first person in my immediate family to pass away. For some odd strange reason, at the church during the funeral services, I started laughing uncontrollably. My own Mother turned around and smacked me in the head. It was like it was happening to someone else....there was nothing funny, as I was still sad, but it was like my brain had a signal crossed.

It would definitely have to be laughing. If you were at a funeral laughing would be the last thing on your mind.

Get up and say a few words about the deceased and proceed to trash the person, making all sorts of outrageous allegations, laughing as you go.

A lot of people have the opposite reaction you would expect in a serious or somber situation.

At my grandfather's funeral, my cousin's slutty wife asked, "Aren't the ants going to get him or something?" while she was viewing the body. She also wore a black, low-cut cat suit with a hot pink vest over it. We were all impressed that she wore the vest.
