Oh..... *smacks head* ...... ok see what I did was join a fitness club and then start running up the down escalator there up to the fitness track on the second level. I wondered why everybody was always staring at me and why this piece of equipment was NEVER used. You mean I could have done the same thing at the airport escalator? And not have payed fees? Ok the next thing you are going to tell me is I could walk backwards on the moving sidewalk at the airport too? Like a treadmill! Hey..... I'm catching on. I'm so going to drop my membership at the fitness club and join the airport! Maybe I can even join the guys out on the tarmac that wave their arms to direct the planes. It's a whole new form of jazzercise! "to the left.... 2... 3....4.... pull it in....2....3... 4. Slow it down.... 2.... 3.... 4. "

As long as you don't miss a step and trip - then the escalator will chew you up - and you could in up in a hospital bed for quite a while ("defeets" your purpose, don't it? lol). Safer to try running outside or even in a tunnel linking parking lots to buildings (as long as it is not a busy time of day!)
