if one could make the connection between the apparatus ot the brain we could see heat images as the military or police applications do with infrared lenses.

The images will appear different. If the eye could see infrared and visible also, not much problem but if that eye could see only IR, the world will look quite different.

To get an idea of how the world looks to such an eye, see the IR images captured by various IR cameras.

everything you would see will be the areas that are warm or cool. red shades reperesents the warm areas around you and blue represents the cool areas.

what i mean is you can see in the dark. you can see persons having sex. yahaha.

but you have to give up the ability to see visible light because seeing both visible spectrum and infrared spectrum is i think impossible.
