Not at all they are just like you or me.
Aliens as such are drawn up in peoples minds as monsters though that is the human perspective and carries no weight to the reality of aliens.
Aliens do not know who, what you are - they could be in the form of ants or worms though you don't know that. They don't know that either. Its nonsense to think that aliens from another planet know where the Whitehouse is or where other Politicians live. Amazing lies really! We cheat our minds into believing they are monsters but in fact we are those monsters because we do not let anything in.

Depends on your definitions of aliens and monsters. Even some fellow human beings may appear alien and monstrous to you.

Where do you think we came from. Is it more scary that man can not create life from scratch or that what ever created life in the first place may still be doing so in other places. If we are monsters they are monsters what do you eat from day to day that was not once alive?

do you think humans are not monsters? we too eat lots of living species. so how can a monster be afraid of other monsters? if they are extra terrestrial (E.T) then they are not, unless they are capitalist twats and only consider their own interest, its likely that they as an intelligent species feel responsible for the well being of life in the universe. if they are not E.T. then we don't need to be scared of them since they wont have the technology to get to our planet in the first place. unless we go to them. in which case we are the monsters.

It would depend on what your definition of monster is I suppose! Then again it would depend on what your definition of alien is! But no, I don't think aliens are monsters.
