I want to be spontaneous. How do I plan for it?

4:30 am: Alarm goes off so you can just happen to wake up to catch the amazing sunrise.

4:45am: Coffee maker kicks on after being pre-set the night before so that you can 'spontaneously' walk into the kitchen and pour yourself a cup of Joe.

5:00am: Sets up the video camera on a tripod to film yourself walking out on the deck in your bathroom and cup of coffee to check out the sunset. Does at least 5 practice runs while waiting for the sun to rise.

5:30am: Goes to the bathroom and reads Newsweek that was strategically placed next to the toilet for just this such occasion.

5:45am: Combs hair, brushes teeth, smiles at self in the mirror and then goes to make his video debut.

6:00am: Sees sunrise begin..... turns on the camera....... makes his entrance.

6:30 am: Turns off camera..... take video out and inserts in VCR.

6:32am: Realizes that the lens cap was on the entire time the camera was shooting.

6:35am: Goes back to bed planning to spontaneously catch the sunrise..... tomorrow.

Everything works for the best when planned carefully ahead of time, don't see why being spontaneous should be any different.

You plan for it VERY carefully and in great detail as you would anything else.

The whole idea of being spontaneous is NOT having a plan. Go with the flow.
