I'm deeply embarrassed to tell you this, but it was the Bay City Rollers in Newcastle in 1974. It was the gig where the seats got broken and it caused them to be barred from many venues. In my opinion it was the beginning of the end for them. In my defence, I'd like to point out that I was a freelance radio journalist at the time. They were rude, arrogant and generally offensive offstage, sorry.

Greenday, in 2002 I think. But by going to that, I ended up getting the spare ticket for Ozzfest from a friend, which was AMAZING. Saw Cradle of Filth, Lostprophets (Who I met and got signings), Hundred Reasons, Kittie, Pantera, Slayer, Ozzy himself and a ton of others I can't think of right now. Then saw Killswitch Engage in Newcastle Uni and Greenday again 3 years ago in Milton Keynes (The Bullet tour), and Lost Prophets when they came to my home town.
Haven't been to any gigs for a while now, and can't go to the ones I want to go to at the end of the year (Hellogoodbye, Fall Out Boy and Within Temptation) because I'm going to be about 7-8 months pregnant and the Within Temptation gig is going to be on my due date!

I love live music. Being at a concert is no match for listening to a CD. Even the crappy burgers that cost £6 each are just part of the whole experience :)

I hate to admit this, but it was The Thompson Twins in about 1985 at the Perth Entertainment Centre in Western Australia. In my defence, my Mum worked as a DJ and we got free tickets. We also saw Fergal Sharkey and Sade for free too.

I saw the irish group "them" play in Aberdeen round about 1964. At that time Van the man Morrison was the lead singer with "Them". If i remember correctly three of their songs were "baby please don't go" , "Gloria" and "Here comes the Night". They were smoking cigarattes on stage which the little devils will not be allowed to do now

A-ha in 2002 at The Royal Albert Hall. It was a great moment for me as I missed out on seeing them in concert as a teenager & thought I'd missed my chance.
Trying to make up for lost time now and seen them a further 4 times since then and hoping for many more. :)

Aerosmith! It was during their "Permanent Vacation" tour, and the group White Lion opened up for them. That was back in 1985/86. It's the one and only concert I have ever been to.
