No THANK GOD!!!
I saw my high school sweetheart last year at a reunion and she was fat and old.
I did buy two newspapers and ran them for a few years, my dream. But sold them later when I realized that dream was making me miserable.
And now that I have money to travel anywhere, the most beautiful and exciting place on earth to 'visit' is my boat during a sunset over the carribean with my lady and cat.
The minute you think you've achieved all of your goals you start to die in earnest.
There was a line from an old Star Trek episode that I think of everytime I achieve something new. That line was.....
"For the Earth is Hollow and I have touched the sky".
Once you have done those, what else is left.

There have been lots of little goals as well as big ones. Some of these kind of 'popped' up as time went on....
- I'd always wanted to travel, so I moved to Oz for a while and have also travelled to lots of other places.
- I hated most sport at school, but liked 'odd' sports. I used to swim for my town, I was also a Field Archer and became the League and British Champion for 3 years, and Scottish Champion. I'm also an Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver and an Advanced Driver, and had a go at flying with my friend who is a pilot.
- I wanted to work with animals, and seperately wanted to horseride on a beach. It took me a while to get this going, but I learnt to ride in my early 20's and then went to Cornwall about 5 years later and went for beach rides. I also worked at the stables for a while until I hurt my back (aggravating an earlier archery injury d'oh!).
- I loved learning, so since I left school to work, I've rarely been out of college evening classes! Apart from the other qualifications I've earnt I like languages, so I did French and BSL.
- I didn't want to get married young, but wanted to either not bother or wait until I'd 'lived a bit', but to someone who shared my interests and desire to keep as much of them going as possible. So after all the above, I'm now getting married to the perfect guy who fits the bill and I'm a few months off 30.
So far I've achieved everything I wanted to and more besides. I'm planning on more of this to come!!

I left my job as a machine operator which I had done for 15 years in 2003 to pursue my childhood ambition of becoming a history teacher. When I left my job I had 2 GCSEs, next Wednesday I graduate from university with an upper second class degree in History, in September I start teacher training at St. Martin's in Lancaster.
I never married my childhood sweetheart, but my current wife knew and fancied me when she was 14, but I didn't remember her, I was 20 and in a relationship. When she was 20 herself we hooked up, she always takes every opportunity to remind me of this fact.
As far as travelling is concerned, I've been to Germany, Moscow, Dublin and Fuerteventura, I've always hoped to visit Australia, New Zealand and Canada, and maybe one day I will.

What a cool question! But why do you want to know?
Actually, the job I have now didn't exist when I was a kid! But my whole life was building up towards it... LOL!
I'm a Professional Organizer. I help people get rid of clutter. And I get paid a lot of money to do it! It's a great job, I can't imagine a better job for me. So yes, I guess I am working my dream job!
I also have ended up with a GREAT guy. We aren't married but we've been together for 21 years, so we're pretty solid. I am very, very happy with him.
Unfortunately, although he is great, he doesn't particularly like to travel. {{sigh}} We have been on a few GREAT trips, but not nearly as many as I'd like. I could go without him but I feel guilty spending the money on just me. But I have been to Europe, and I never really thought I'd get there, so I can't complain too much!
My life isn't perfect -- but it's damn good!

Still working on it.
Closer every day.
Better job than I wanted as a kid.
Better sweetheart than I wanted as a kid.
Still traveling to the places I wanted to go.
Still dreaming about tomorrow, living today, and laughing about yesterday. You?

I'm working on it right now - I'm at university to achieve the courses I want to do. At the same time, I'm saving money to go travelling afterwards as well. Hopefully it will all happen for me. Fingers crossed!!

Yes, I did, although I never had what you would call high aspirations or goals.
I married a sexy, intelligent, talented woman.
I was very successful in several careers.
I've traveled widely and gone deep into wilderness areas.
In short, life is good.
