My Ding a Ling by Chuck Berry
My Ding-A-Ling-A-Ling
When I was a little biddy boy
My grandma bought me a cute little toy
Two Silver bells on a string
She told me it was my ding-a-ling-a-ling
My Ding-A-Ling My Ding-A-Ling won't you play with My Ding-A-Ling
My Ding-A-Ling My Ding-A-Ling won't you play with My Ding-A-Ling
When I was little boy In Grammar school
Always went by the very best rule
But Evertime the bell would ring
You'd catch me playing with my ding-a-ling
Once while climbing the garden wall,
Slipped and fell had a very bad fall
I fell so hard I heard birds sing,
But I held on to My ding-a-ling
Once while swimming cross turtle creek
Man them snappers right at my feet
Sure was hard swimming cross that thing
with both hands holding my dingaling
Now this here song it ain't so bad
Prettiest little song that you ever had
And those of you who will not sing
must be playing with your on Ding-a-ling

"My Ding-a-Ling" was a 1972 novelty hit record for Chuck Berry, and his only U.S. number-one single on the pop charts.
The song was recorded by Dave Bartholomew in 1952. In 1954, The Bees released a version entitled "Toy Bell." Berry recorded a version called "My Tambourine" in 1958, but the version which topped the charts was recorded live during the Lanchester Arts Festival at the Locarno ballroom in Coventry, England, on 3 February 1972, where Berry - backed by The Roy Young Band - topped a bill that also included Slade and Billy Preston.
Lyrics
The song tells of how the singer received two silver bells on a string from his grandmother, who calls them his ding-a-ling. According to the song, he plays with it in school, and holds on to it in dangerous situations like swimming across a creek infested with snapping turtles. The lyrics consistently exercise the double entendre with ding-a-ling standing in for the penis. In the final chorus, Berry gives the game away:
Now this here song it ain't so sad
Cutest little song that you ever did had
The singer then admonishes "those of you who will not sing" and concludes that they "must be playing with [their] own ding-a-ling".

Chuck Berry had great sucess in the 1950s and early 1960s.
He only had ONE number 1 hit. In 1972 he hit #1 with My Ding a ling.

I think it's safe to say that "My Ding Aling" was by Chuck Berry.
However, it was also featured in The Simpsons - a student tried to sing it on stage on Talent Night but Principal Skinner swiftly dragged him off stage for being so rude.
