the only thing that is meant by that is the degree of passion that it takes to feel and display both LOVE and HATE.
they are very close based on the degree of emotion.
so as the idium says......" dont wear your heart on your sleeve"

There certainly is! I have an exhusband whom I loved dearly at times but there were times that I hated him just as passionately. The hatred won out for the both of us and has dwindled now to tolerance. Passion arises from both love and hate so there is a very thin line that separates the two. This of course only pertains to relationships because I can really hate asparagus and find no love for it whatsoever.

i think that u can say u hate someone you love but you really dont its just away to say or be mad at them. theres a big line between love and hate. if you hated a guy you wouldnt marry him right, you marry the one you love, of course there are times when u feel like you hate them, but thats just part of relationships, you are most likely dissapointed or upset or frustrated with them. it all depends what you think

No. It's a stupid saying. Love and hate are OPPOSITES.

What IS true is that you most easily can hurt the people you love. And sometimes hurt FEELS like hate -- but it's not. It's anger and disappointment, but not hate.

Real, true HATE is something that most people will hopefully never have to experience.

no idthink there is a thin line. there is a very distinguishable line. Love and Hate are opposite. That is why i think the line is pretty big.

If love would settled in one by one of your cells nothing can remove from your heart and never cause you to consider the hate even eihter yourself or your friends wonna end your love to hate.
Inaddition you sould avoid enviouses ,and save your ! because envy is love dammager.

Maybe dislike someone that you love, but not hate. Hate always turns inwards in the end. I don't think it is a good emotion to have

I think there is, you could love the person so much but one little thing could make you hate them. Not to be cliche but you love the ones you hate.

I would say there is a very fine line between love and hate. I have experienced it myself. I had a dear friend who loved me for 9 years...but I kept hurting her (STUPID ME) and now she hates me...
