If you want a BOOK-length treatment, the classic resource is *A Diplomatic History of the American People* by Thomas A. Bailey

I'm not sure what you mean by a "listing", but for a good survey I recommend Walter LaFeber's The Amercian Age. LaFeber was probably the most eminent scholar in the field until his retirement last year. He was a history professor at Cornell. His perspective is somewhat liberal, but not radical by any means. (He's not like Chomsky, for example.) Check it out.
