What if my last solution was....either?

No Solution or violent confrontation....because of my own liberty being threatened....does each citizen have a right to defend themselves...in the same manner as the country as whole has?

Yes - they have the right. They also have to accept the consequences of those action.

Yes if they are being threatened. They have a right to defend their liberty. but if it conflicts with the law then it has to go to court i believe.
