America fell asleep for too long and this is what happens. It is a waste of our tax dollars, but very convenient for politicians. You see how much fund raising time is saved and that gives them more time to plan how to further impoverish those who can least afford to be gouged.

I think it is a waste of tax dollars. I constantly get mail from the Democratic party soliciting funds for the party. Each party should pay for their own convention, not the tax payers. I also think both parties should help the local authorities who provide security and other services.

Yes it is, and our tax dollars should not pay for the conventions. The National Committees should be responsible for the financing of their party events.

The whole concept of how we elect our leaders has become rediculous. He who has the most bucks scores the nomination. The libs constantly want to tax things, I think political contributions should not be immune from taxes. That would slow this mess down.

They shouldn't and yes. Primaries are for the parties to decide who their own candidate WILL be. All decisions on how this is acomplished should be by the parties and all funding should come from the parties. What a scam it is!

They just help themselves to anything don't they? And they wonder why people can't put aside money in their savings. They are a disgrace to America, and not ashamed to show it.
