Nope, because men and women basically get the same things out of marriage. Prostitution is straight money for sex. The woman gets the best deal and gets the money and the sex and the man just pays up. In marriage, partners should be equal. I can imagine believing this saying if say, a woman was a stay at home mother and her husband worked all the time.

People who make such statements are idiots and nothing more. Prostitutes are people (women and men included) who 'loan' their bodies to other people longing for some sexual gratification and get paid for their services. There is no prostitution in a marriage. The partners give and receive sexual gratification from each other but that is part and parcel of married life. Even if the partners receive payment (either in the form of cash or gifts) for sexual services between them, it still cannot be considered as 'prostitution' simply because they share and live for a lot more meaningful things in a truly married life than just having sex. Get the point?

For starters prostitution is having sex with multiple partners and getting paid for it. Marriage is suppose to be forever with your one true love and only your partner. Where does the saying marriage is just legal prostitution come from? That saying is highly offensive. I take my marriage vowels very seriously and no I do not agree with you.

No, because neither of us has to offer $100 to the other every time we have sex. We also call it making love, big difference from just having sex. As far as any gifts, I got those even before I was married and I dont consider that prostitution.

No, I don't agree. Marriage is a committment between two people to share their lives. I don't know where the prostitution comes in. I don't know where you are hearing it, but I would stop listening.

It's soooooooooooo sad to know there are people who consider marriage as "legal prostitution"; I guess those speaking so are just individuals without values.

No because marriage is a commitment between you and another person. To prostitute means you are giving your body to many people, not just one person.

no,because then you neither of you would be committed to eachother for sex.
I've never heard that, I've heard that it's cheaper to pay a whore twice a week than get married.
