No. The best way to solve anything is to use non-violent methods, but if it is a life-and-death situation then violence can be used - only if there is no other choice

It solves peace, if that's a problem for some. It solves thinking and feeling. It solves having to solve anything. It solves the problem of being human. It's odd but the left logical hemisphere has all the questions and a bomb for all the answers. The right hemishpere has answers looking for a problem. The new mind is to use the intuition to look at the right hemisphere, right from a Fredian slip, mosty to the point you have to intuit a problem to get back to the left. It's now just the bad habit of misusing the brain along with everything else. It's a time for peace. Now is the accepted time, because now we know how and only have to teach it. Just connecting with the whole brain does it. We can teach it to anyone or some of us can to different degrees You have to focus on the solutions or your right back to the bomb solution. That comes up from not doing the homework. Me, me, me me oops, I'm gone for honor.

Yes-but rarely as the aggressor. There are evil people in this world that will either act individually (school yard bully) or politically (Hitler, Pol Pot) that sometimes must be dealt with quickly and violently. Unfortunately they don't respond to sitting around holding hands and singing Kumbayah no matter how much others would like them to.
After completely removing their ability to act violently, then one must show restraint and compassion toward the former "enemy". The Marshall Plan (1940s-1950s, named after GEN(ret) George Marshall) is one example of this.
The only other option is to turn the other cheek and be prepared to die a martyr's death. While I aspire to follow the One who taught that, its very hard.

Violence does not resolve disputes. It only establishes (for the moment) physical dominance. More often than not a violent confrontation will only serve to escalate the hostility. Defending yourself and your loved ones and property are one thing, forcing your point of view, ideas, philosophy, etc. on another individual or group by physical intimidation only leads to anger and resentment....the circle completes itself, and the fight continues.

There are values to fight for: ideals, life concepts... Even if you fight against the odds, even if it is a lost cause there are times when you can only save your soul by struggling. Violence as counteraction can be the only way to protect everything you live for. Take in example Lord Byron who died at the siege of Thessaloniki, fighting for the freedom of Greece.

I was involved in a violent confrontation one time. My husband at the time was starting in on me and I had finally had enough. I was tired of the abuse and I didn't care that he was so much larger (he was 6'1'' and I'm 5'4''). He missed hitting me and I snapped, going after him. He ran like a chicken and I probably would have killed him if a roommate had not held me back. I promised to kill him the next time he touched me. He left the next day.
I finally learned how to stand up for myself and it felt good!

thankfully a protracted time in the past I had my final one, a minimum of i wish so while a guy purely desperate he did not like me and took a swing. He neglected and it have been given broken up. until eventually now that, I had some fights, gave some shiners and took some too, yet regularly i stayed out of complication through fact I knew it wasn't properly worth it contained in the long-term.
