I have to hand in my resignation letter tomorrow first thing and i need to know how to say "i know i have to give one months notice but could i leave any earlier" i need to say this more proficiently PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP :D

I am aware of the notice requirements but in this case I would request that you relieve me of my obligation and accept an agreed shorter notice~~

Don't write it in the letter but tell the person you talk to that you rather not work that much longer but will stay if they really need you. That way you don't burn bridges also offer to be available by phone or after work to show details to your replacement for a couple more weeks. Many companies will tell you leave now even if you did plan to stay another month. Clean out personal files from your computer before you resign.

Two weeks is the general industry standard (In the USA anyway), is that enough time. Give em a date and gracious resignation thanking them for the opportunity they gave you, and that's good.
