Britney isn't worth as much as she was at the height of her career. Unfortunately it would seem quite a substantial amount of Britney's fortune is/ was going towards her drug addiction, whether it be alcohol or illicit drugs ... I don't know.
However she still is quite rich and a lot of her money worth comes from such things as her prior music releases, perfume and contract and licensing agreements.
Her net worth according to forbes in their 2007 richest women poll is 100 million dollars. But please remember that is net worth and doesn't necessarily mean she has 100 million in her bank account. Britney also came 12th in the forbes 20 richest women from 2007.
