Tell me what you have seen that you thought was the most beautiful, amazing, inspirational thing in the world that left you breathless and just gave you that feeling that no one can describe? It can't be something that man created and it can't be a person or a body part. (I'm already ahead of you perves, I know what you're thinking!)

Also, why did you think this particular thing was beautiful, amazing, or inspirational?

In Algonquin around 4:30 a.m. My boyfriend & I were up trying to spot a moose. We were driving along the road when all of a sudden he said "Holy crap!" & stopped the car.

It was the most beautiful, magical thing we had ever seen. The sun was just rising, the golden light coming through the pines & there was an ethereal mist rising from Smoke Lake (hence the name I guess!) It was unreal. It was like something out of a painting. It was like having a glimpse into Heaven. We madly snapped pictures of it. I did a 20" x 30" painting of one of the photos & have it hanging in my living room. A loon calling in the distance made the scene even more haunting. The trees were a dark blue, the sky was gold & the fog hanging over the lake was like a silver ghost. Words can't even describe how beautiful it was.

Algonquin was one of the most beautiful places I've ever been & reminded me what a glorious world it is.

I love nature. It makes me feel at peace, at home, comforted and inspired...

God is an extraordinary artist. Only God can make a tree or the sun or the water. The rest of us can only admire & try to capture them on film or recreate them on canvas...

One winter night in Alaska, I went out to use the outhouse. The sky was ablaze with rippling bands of green, purple and pink. I'd seen the northern lights before, but these were the brightest and biggest I'd ever experienced. It was like I'd been transported to an entirely different planet or some other realm of existence. I think I forgot to breathe for a while. I remember thinking that if you could see a symphony it might look like this. It was 20 below, but I stayed outside for hours just staring at the sky with my mouth open. It's the closest thing I've ever had to a religious experience, and I'll never forget it.

I was in a meadow next to a forest, in the middle of nowhere, and was lying on the ground looking at the night sky. It was a deep blue, all of the stars were out, there was a full moon, and it was the perfect temperature out with a slight breeze. Night birds called. Some friends and I were just talking about how big God is when a shooting star flew across the sky. It was amazing.

The reflection of my own passions in another. No matter how brief it may last, you can't help but be awed by the beauty you see in another when they reflect you with their own special magic.

Does that count as something Man created?
For an alternative answer: Once when I was 12 I was out in the fields and woods, etc...with my dog and I found a mother armadillo with 4 baby armadillos. The mamma ran down a hole followed by 3 of the babies. The fourth baby was too happy snuffling around and let me pet him. I had forgotten all about that, but it was awesome!

The panoramic view of the island and the clouds below from top of the mountain. I will never forget that view. And it just felt how precious and fragile we humans are and how big this world is. It just took my breathe away, no words can describe it, after hours of climbing up the mountain and to finally make it to the top and see to the majestic beauty of nature that was something. Now I know why people keep climbing mountains risking their life for that ultimate nirvana.

i was having a very big fight with my boyfriend when we and our friends have a camping to the mountains. To add to my sadness and depression, he then cheates on me with my gurlfriends in front of my eyes. i was so depressed that i can't speak to aybody. I just want to go home and foget everything. that night we made a campfire and sat around it. They were singing and singing. my boyfriend was really indifferent and made out with my friend. i looked at the sky and started to cry and pray. when i looked at the sky, i saw the stars and suddenly i felt awed. its like somebody told me : "I am the Creator of everything u are seein right now. Your problem means nothing. If I can created all of this, then I can surely heal your pain."

i became stronger that night and it was an unforgetable experience for me, coz it taught me of God's love and power.

Surise at sea, lying on the beach. The colours in the sky seem to blend with the ones on the waters, and you see the birth of a new day as the rise of everything pure left in ourselves, I will asure you you cannot help but cry a tear of joy for the moment experienced. :-)

Niagara Falls! The sound, the spectrum everthing just took my breath away. We arrived at night and all we could heard was this tremendous roar at day light we could not wait to go outside and that sight hit me with such tremendous shock I still awe over it and that was 30 years ago.
