There are 4 people that live in my house, my brother my boyfriend, and a guy that is just a roomate. well i do mine and my boyfriends laundry and if i happen to have something in the dryer and it's done the other roomate takes it out and puts it in a laundry basket for me. I am the only female who lives in my house and i don't want some random guy touching my clothes. so i'm venting to my boyfriend and he is telling me i'm over reacting but i think that it's rude to touch someones clothes. not to mention he put them in a laundry basket which had dirty clothes on the bottom. Am i over reacting?

He put the clean clothes in the same laundry basket that had dirtty clothes still in it, and in arizona at 120 degrees your dirty clothes are actually dirty and smelly

Yes, you are over reacting. What's wrong with someone touching your clothes? They touch YOU, don't they? Total strangers shake your hand, friends give you hugs... So what if a guy you KNOW touches your clothes? And honestly, most people do put their clean clothes in the same laundry basket as the dirty clothes, so they can carry the clothes where they belong. But if it bothers you, leave a CLEAN laundry basket out instead.

You have the beginnings of a germ phobia. You will be MUCH happier in life if you fight this -- fight it tooth and nail!

Good luck.

Well i agree with you on the laundry basket thing, but it's nothing to get mad about. He was probably just trying to help you out, but if you dont feel comfortable with it just simply ask him to stop doing it and it's no big deal. The best way is just talk to him yourself to make the biggest difference so he knows is waht you want.
