iv got an xc fairmont gxl with a 302 cleaveland. does any one know what the firing order is and what side of the engine is 1 it just seems to back fire out the carbi

It can be either as he said.. 13726548 or it could be 15426378.. It depends on I think,, H/O or not... H/O is High output and gets the 137... and the non-H/O is the 154....

Oh yeah.. 1 right front 2 left front.. then back an forth to the back...

As chucky said the factory intake manifold should tell you the firing order, But I'm pretty sure its 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8. That's what a 351 is and I'm 95 percent sure the 302 is the same.

302's Clevelands are real, they are in aussie cars only.

no such thing as a cleveland 302s, only 351s. The firing order is on the intake manifold. the #1 spark plug is on the right side at the front of the engine as if you were sitting in the car. #2 is on the other side of engine, directly across from #1

Ive only heard of a 351 cleveland. if you have the factory intake it should tell you the firing order, most do

firing order is cast into the intake (usuasly) and if i remember correctly if you are between the headlamps, left bank is 1-4 front to rear and right is 5-8, if i remember correctly.
