D.L. Amiss of England was the first person to score a century in the history of One Day International Cricket.
In the 1st Match of Prudential Trophy, 1972 between
England and Australia played at Old Trafford, Manchester
on 24th August 1972 he scored 103 runs facing 134 balls with the help of 9 fours.
