The grey album was hot! I actually copped it by accident trying to buy the bootleg of the black album in Chinatown when it came out. Then I got home and wasn't too dissapointed afterall. Now, Pete Rock's I never heard - would have liked to though. I think he's a great producer!

Mos Def is an artist. Jay Z is a superstar. it is it. If i'm making real artwork, i % Mos Def writing and performing. If i % to attraction to a generalized, mass aim audience, I take Jay Z. If i choose a sturdy looking dude which could act and attraction audiences, I take Mos. If i % to help a variety like BING get extra impact, i exploit Jay Z. 2 completely distinctive universes. In a real conflict, i think of Mos Def wins. fact is that Jay Z is truthfully a large marketer and extra perfect businessman than Mos, yet that's the element, Mos Def exists to be a thorn interior the area of synthetic, company run labels. i'm specific Jay Z might trust with all of that. Jay Z's stuff is extra perfect than a large style of the business rubbish, yet he's truthfully no longer the artist Mos Def is, no longer even close. I take Busta Rhymes, Mos Def, Black theory, Andre 3000, DMX, MF Doom, and Eminem...and all of them might smoke Jay z face to stand. fact. technology. completed.
