Well, they would probably have a four team playoff per division. Maybe flip coins to decide who plays whom.
But major league baseball has not made a rule for that. The chances of the situation you posed are very very slim to none. I mean too many .000000000000.............1 to count. All 30 teams with identical records....no way that would ever happen. You are playing statistics at that point.
But there is no rule in place currently. No reason for it.

Having finally achieved his dream state of Competitive Balance, Seligula could die a happy (well, moderately less grumpy) man.
He would NOT die, of course, remaining here on earth to continue plaguing baseball-loving mankind, but he COULD die happy.
Having eliminated truly great teams and forced upon all franchises an enduring mediocrity of the sort he as owner of the Brewers was incapable of excelling beyond, he would at last consider this vindication of his vision (not realizing it's actually vindication of his incompetence; rather like certain federal officeholders, really). If one cannot do better, force those who can to do worse.
But we'd still hear about how the Yankees are buying up all the good players and championships; no amount of contradictory facts ever gets in the way of that ancient refrain.

if that happened they would go how many games a team has one over another team example
if the nyy have beaten the red sox 10 out of 17 games the yankees would go to the playoffs because they have more wins against the sox

Does anyone really care?
After all, there are some teams in that league who aren't good enough to win 50 games, never mind 81.

the same way they break ties now, a one game playoff. i believe if its a 3 way tie now it goes to home record to see who plays first, then runs scored then i think it goes to a coin flip to see who plays who in the one game playoff and where they play it. so basically it would be an awesome season with one extra week added on that would be like marchmadness x1000. i would love to see the lowly devil rays get lucky and knock off NY and boston to get into the playoffs.

They would have a rock-scissors-paper tournament to decide a winner.

i think they will look at it as who won the most in the divison and if it was a tie then they would play a tie breaker just with the wildcard also
