Also known as "issues"...the best way to deal with them is first to acknowledge them, then work on them (whether through therapy, journaling, talking with people about them just to get them out of you) and then let them go. Monsters live in the dark. Shine the light on them & you take away your fear of them. They become manageable. We all have issues. We all have pain from the past, problems, fears, phobias etc etc. Burying them or ignoring them never makes them go away. Admitting them & then letting go is the best way.

You can't get rid of your inner demons. They are always there. But you have the choice to face them rather than fight or avoid them, and come to some neutral ground where you dont have to struggle with them. That also makes you a more balanced person, cause you can now put your two halves together in a harmonious fashion. Never believe it if someone claims to be pure, they may hide behind their books or their dogma, but we can choose to be real, by accepting that we have a light and a darker side. It's a fact about being human, not falsifying our standards of being a 'perfect being' -whatever that means.

You can't really get rid of it. But i would start with finding a new hobby. And stop writing so much on the computer. Do physical activities with your friends. Set a goal for yourself to only stay on the computer for two hours then cut down every month. It could save you a few bucks on the electric bill!!! ;). Basically find something else to do, if you can't look at what movies are coming on, what events that sound kinda cool. Be out there instead of inside here.

lol...well I would assume that would be, philosophically speaking, your Id, or the part of your brain that wants personal pleasure and needs, regardless of the outcome. So I suppose that would be a desire to sleep around or do drugs or eat a lot. So to get rid of these "inner demons" you would need to learn how to use self control and find a less destructive path that is productive to community as a whole.

exorcism.. HAHA... this is SO the wrong section. You need to re-direct yourself to the "crazy bible-thumping" section. I believe it is also known as "christianity".

PS: If you're talking about just bad habits, you're STILL in the wrong section. A bunch of hippies that sit around contemplating the world aren't going to help you with your anger issues.

PPS: I use hippies as a compliment. I love being called a hippie, so it's not an insult to anyone who thought I meant it in a derogatory way.

This should be more under "mental illness" since this is what a lot of people with mental illness' have to deal with.
The only way to get over them is to learn good techniques and to let time heal it.
