Arnica. You can buy it from the drugstore, usually in a cream. Just rub it on the bruise and it will make it disappear a lot faster. If you rub it on before the bruise gets dark, you can sometimes stop the bruise from appearing entirely.

No, a band-aid won't work. All you need is to put a warm, wet rag on the bruise and a bag of ice on top. Warmth and cold are both good ways to get rid of bruises. But doing both will get rid of it quicker.

Bruises naturally take a certain amount of time to reside. They go through a certain color spectrum to do so. Go to a costume shop and find the tattoo cover-up makeup. It applies like a heavy foundation but blends well.

For future reference. Start eating more Iron heavy items such as raisins and brocoli. Liver if you have a taste for it is also high in iron. Helps to prevent from bruising so easily.

Cover it with make-up on the day. If its on the outside of your arm and the make-upwon't rub onto your dress it should be ok. Speak to your make-up artist about this. I have a friend and she is very dark skinned and had a traditional Samoan tattoo (about 5cm wide!) wrapped around her upper arm that the fussy bride didn't want showing in photo's. My friend was the bridesmaid. Make-up successfully covered it up and you couldn't even tell. So a little bruise should be a piece of cake.

Well..... there is a cream that you can use..... it's called something like "Thromobob" (can't quite remember). Anyway, you put it on your bruise, it starts burning after ten minutes, you wash it off..... your bruise is gone! And I'm not even joking.

My whole forearm was black - from wrist to elbow - it disappeared in ten minutes. The only draw back is that I bought the cream in India... Also, I have no idea what is in it. I got scared when it started burning (that's why I washed it off) - but it worked like magic.
