Does anyone know how employers can inquire into our work history? and when they do can they see when we worked, and in what circumstances we left?

I'm trying to do a complete resume and I need to know that information exactly, is there anyway I can get that information?

your social security card does the job.

You have to track that information yourself. Call each company you worked for and ask for your start date and termination date. You should remember the dates for your current job and the old resume should have the older jobs. After about 3-4 jobs you probably don't need to include them. Unless you are getting a military security clearance they won't check more than the last two or three jobs.
My dad got one once to work on missile silos and they ask about arrest history as well as complete work history. They came back and asked him about being pulled over for speeding, he left it off because he only got a warning. My ex got one where they came to me after we were divorced to ask about him.
Never lie if you don't know don't lie just say you don't remember.

They can confirm it by calling the references we place in the resume or by calling the trunkline of our previous company.

I suggest you place good references in your resume so that your future company can get valid reference checks for you.
