If a 24 year old male is pursuing a 19 year old female, is that inappropriate?

I met my boyfriend when I was 21 and he was 41 and we have been together for almost 4 years now. Usually we get along great and have fun together however I can see a few problems from this amount of age gap but yours is very common. I say if you and the other person are happy do it, age doesn't matter if it feels right to you.

It depends on the culture. But Yes, it is okay for a 24 year old man to go for a 19 year old girl because it's only a 5 year gap and they are both consenting adults.

It would depend on the persons involved - much like any dating question.
Why is the 24 year old male interested in the 19 year old female? Is it because he truly likes her and they share common interests? If so, then the age difference should not matter...

No, that's fine. A five-year age gap is fairly normal. Just as long as she's really older than the age of consent, and isn't lying to you, you're fine. I thought you were going to ask about 20 years or more!

As long as the two people care about each other, share some common interests, enjoy each others company, and are both of legal age-of-consent, it's fine - and nobody else's business.

as long as she doesnt mind that your 24 and you dont mind her being 19, then its fine as both of you are adults.
