My old Apt. my GF and I lived in was somewhat different...
she was getting ready for bed and I was watching TV. While she was trying to sleep something appeared at the edge of the bed it was dark but had a human figure. She tried to yell my name but nothing came out and she just laid there frozen. Finally I hear, "dan" but it was very faint so I went to the room and she had this look of fear on her face... she told me what happened and I was amazed.
Few days later I was getting off work and I pulled into the drive and saw my Land Lord speaking to another couple who live in the same building. I said, "hello how are you doing?" they said fine but the Land Lord quickly said, "they think this place is haunted", I said, "so do Jen and I" then I told him the same story stated above and all 3 of their jaws dropped because the couple told the Land Lord the exact same story.
(note: the old apt. was part of the underground railroad it's a big house divided into individual apts).

Great tale! I love this simple, but believable story.
I sometimes sense odd presences at the top of stairwells. Especially dark old ones. Not sure if it's my imagination or not, but once I swore I heard something sigh or exhale that clearly was NOT there!
Man, bedtime is gonna be a challenge tonight. Where's my kid's Thomas the Tank Engine nightlight?

I was sleeping once and dreaming that I was looking for a photo of a beach that I hadn't seen in ages. In the dream, my grandmother who has been dead over 20 years helped me find it. After that, she put me to bed and sat at the end of the bed til I drifted off. The dream ended there and as I was coming around I could still feel the pressure of the blankets pulled tight on my feet, like when someone is actually on the end of your bed. It slowly faded and I looked up to find nobody there. I did however find the photo from my dream by my pillow. It still gives me shivers. Ghost stories always sound like rubbish to other people but when you're there and you know what it was like it's a different story.

That's really interesting ! I used to always believe in ghosts. But now I am in between believing and not believing. I've heard some pretty creepy stories from teachers, also.

My house isn't haunted but when I look out of the corner of my eye, sometimes I think I see my grandfather walk through the room. It freaks me out sometimes but I believe in ghost too!

yes!! i'm pretty sure the apt i live in now is haunted. things are always rearranged when i come home from work
