With my daughter who is now 16 I tested negative with all the symptoms except morning sickness so I assumed the tests were right. Finally after just feeling so off all the time I went to the doctor who ordered an ultrasound because my HCG levels were so low and we were both shocked that I was over 4 months along. He thought I had a fibroid gone bad. I tested negative with home tests until I gave up trying at 6 months. My little girl was born 3 weeks early but was home with me in 24 hrs.

If you tested positive with the doctor than you are definitely pregnant.

Good luck!

I actually had a friend who did the same thing. She tested negative the whole pregnancy and now has a beautiful little 4 year old. If the doctor says you are pregnant then you are but if you are just going on missed period with no symptoms i would suggest getting checked to be sure but i did and do miss my period at times because of high stress. When you are stressed your body produces chemicals into your blood stream. When these chemicals dont calm down your body thinks your in danger(some athletes do this because of constant training) so it doesnt give you a period because believe it or not it does weaken us from the blood loss(they have actually done studies on this).

Anyways get the doctor to check you just to be sure. If you cant afford it, you can check to see if medicaid will cover it and you can check with your local health dept about this.

You could have had a defective test but it is normal also. You hormone levels may be low. You can get plenty of false negatives though so dont worry. And yes, that can happen the whole time. Keep going to the doc though and let him know if you are worried still.

False negetives and false postives usually happen because the test wasn't take correctly.

It could have been something as simple as not enough urine on the stick, or even holding it at an incorrect angle.

To me, the cheaper tests seem to be the least accurate. I used four store brand tests and two name brand when I thought I was pregnant (turns out I was!). Three of the four store brands came out negative while only one came out positive. Both name brands came out positive.

So it could have been the test, or the way it was taken.

You'd be on the set of coronation highway! In thought i assume if not something ever happend, there could have been no massive Bang which might propose that situations for existence does not have been created!! In physics isn't there a regulation that states each action HAS AN equivalent AND OPPOSITTE reaction?? consequently if there replaced into no preliminary action, evoloution does not exist.... Cool! Existential questions:)

I would think when most women know they are pregnant, they would stop testing. maybe why no one ever gets a negative after 5 months.

I've never heard of it... but blood tests are more accurate.

Call and see if your doctor or midwife has concerns.
