The bible teaches us and it says "do not love each other with words" then why do women want so much to hear just those few words.

"girl" - that is a very good point that you made that brings me to this point. If men are "site" and women are "sound" then what happens when the woman gains weight or the man gets old and tired and doesn't like to talk as much. Does that mean they don't love each other any more.. if so then that type of love was never stong enough to make the relationship last... right?
Should it be from the heart?

women are creatures of sound- men are of sight. women re seduced with words men with visuals. each has a place in nature- also culture shows in movies and music how declaring this statement is romantic- women love romance and love love-say IT when yo mean it with sincerity and back it up with a caress for your wife- it will be a giving experience that will strengthen you relationship-you over quoting and thinking too much-you are approaching this as a man-not trying to understand women

No pun intended at all, but women, generally, are much more oral oriented than most men. It's not fiction that surveys have determined that women use five times as many words in a day than men do. They want to HEAR it as well as have it demonstrated.

It just sounds like you are saying that is it annoying to have to tell someone that you love them. When two people are together and in love, really in love, then either one saying I love you to the other, should come easily, and not be a chore. If it is annoying or a chore, then other issues need to be dealt with.

Because it concretes your love when we hear it and you men show it at the same time.Also men like to hear and be told how loved they are so its human nature plus a bit of an ego stroke to make us feel safe.

haha my hubbie gets hurt if I don't say I love you when we hang up the phone everytime.
Showing it is the most important thing. But it feels good to hear it, and say it... for both parties, if you're in love with one another.

Your name says it all, are you married? Have a girlfriend? People need love and compassion, if that's all the girl needs, give it to her. life will be much better, but if she's one of those needy chicks who want to kill themselves because you didn't make her heart pancakes for valentines day or call her before you go to sleep, dump her!

the rest of that verse says...... but in deed and in truth.... my question to you is.......WHY DO YOU HATE TO SAY THOSE WORDS SO BADLY!? you said FEW right? how long does it take to say 3 words that makes someone feel so good about your relationship?saying i love you is kind. if you feel it, it's ok to say it.......if yoou dont......seems to me it would be a hard thing to say.

I'm not a woman and I like to hear my wife tell me she loves me. Showing it is good, of course, but it's also nice to hear it.
