This is a great question, and I realize it has, in a first approximation at least, nothing to do with regular food per se. But, I would like your permission to let my STOMACH answer this one; he's been bugging the heck out of me all day.

... Look here buddy, this here's Franken's stomach talking to ya: You reckon this is a fair question to be asking on a day like today, the 4th of July, when I've been "dreaming" about BBQ burgers, apple pie's, tattoo salads, ice cream, and all kinds of yummy lookin' "feasts", and all this Franken jerk here's been doing about it is feeding me a lousy Hot Dog???

I feast on the dreams.

I don't dream of the feast much.

But then I've never been really really hungry. I suppose if I was starving I'd dream of the feast more.

Unless I misunderstand you, I don't think you mean feast as in "eating" do you?? I feast on my dreams--they are essential in my life & make of it a garden.

Eating makes me feel nauseated. So, I'll take the dreams -- no feast in either case.

I devour my dreams. They sustain me. I hunger for them. I could forgo food if I had to but I could not exist without my dreams... Actually I haven't been eating much these days. Losing weight with all the stress... but anguish is food for creativity. It inspires art & music. Out of pain comes beauty as an oyster creates a pearl...
