An A cup is a bust measurement 1 inch larger than the band measurement. [ which is the measurement under the bust, plus 5 inches ] - half a lemon
An AA is the same size as the band size - half an English muffin
B = 2 " bigger than band size - half an orange
C = 3" - half a grapefruit
D = 4" - half a cantelope, etc.
DD = 5"
F = 6"
There is no BB, or CC; at least not in the U.S.

It's anywhere from a half an inch or 3/4 of an inch in the measurement around one's bust. Some people don't quite fit a solid cup, which goes in one inch increments. Consider double letters a go-between for people who for example are bigger than a B, but can't quite fill out a C. Double letters are usually an increment of half an inch more than a single letter.

AA is smaller, and DD is bigger. It goes, AAA, AA, A, B, C, D, DD, E, etc.

The waist size is just a measurement of your inches.
