they are afraid of her because they percieve she can win and they will not. I expect the nomination is hers, if she doesn't make a major goof and with Bill as acampaign and fundraising resource she probably has a pretty good chance at the whitehouse. after 8 years of this mess, that might be refreshing.
I think she can beat McCain easily. If Fred Thompson or Gulianni get the GOP nod they would be hard to beat, though.
I might consider Rudy, but not Fred (too conservative), but any of the others probably come in 2nd place to Senator Clinton and she remains my choice for now.

Hehe I was going to say "I don't fear her" then I remembered that I renounced my adherence to the Republican Party. The first step was learning about Thomas Jefferson; great Republican. The second step was learning about Abraham Lincoln, that made me reject the Nationalism that has infected the Republican party.
Jefferson was a true Republican.
Lincoln was not a Republican. He was a Nationalist
The modern Republicans follow Lincoln, not Jefferson.
True Republicans should follow Jefferson's example (to a degree.... he did have some democratic principles which is dangerous)

I'm scared of her and I'm a democrat from way back.
She holds socialist goals for this country. I have no interest in more of that. That isn't where my party started out, and it's not where they are going to end up.
I will always respect her as a Former First Lady and Senator, and despise the seditious talk about her that you refer to.
Let her join the socialist party.
We have plenty of patriotic Democratic party candidates.

Same reason they were afraid of her husband back in 1991 (and started a Hate Crusade against him that continues to this day): They're afraid she can win.
But outrageous libelous accusations, even when motivated by fear, are never funny.

Please do not confuse complete disdain for fear. I do not fear her at all. She has no chance of getting elected.
