Someone asked if we liked Irish and Scottish accents. YES! But there is just something about the British accent that wets my knickers... except if they're acting foppish. The British and English (men for me at least) have such smooth, creamy voices. Anyone else?

BTW, Shari, I'm not stupid. I realize that there are many different accents in the UK, however, in general I love their accents.

Not all people from the UK sound the same or have the same
accents, or use the same terms for the same things. I have
learned that from an English friend, as well as hearing diff-
erent accents from people on TV. Some accents make it
hard to understand what exactly they are saying.
Myself, I hate the sound of the snooty types from London.
Other areas people are more down to earth and even say so.
I have heard that many people there, don't like London or the
airs that people there put on.

I LOVE ENGLISH ACCENTS! It's sooooooooo cool! Makes me wish I was born in London. I can do an english accent, sure, but I just love listening to the real thing...-daydreams-

I went through a Wendy's drive through once and heard a British man's voice.. that was a little weird. I thought, really living the American dream, eh?
